G B Tate And SonsEVALUATION OF THE SUBJECT ARTWORK:Pablo Picasso, "Ecstasy", Pencil drawing $60,000 - 80,000 USD It is a Real Drawing Hand signed Picasso, Not a Lithogragh, Print, or Giclee of any kind. The piece is part of a private Montecito collection and probably the most beautiful of all we have. It was purchased 40 Years ago from a swiss gallery and the provenance dates back to Picasso\'s Mistress Marie Therese Walter. We have had this piece looked over by G B Tate and Sons, one of the highest regarded appraisers and dealers in North America as well as Dr. Darragh Elliott President of Maynard Elliott Inc in Canada. The official appraisal of $75,000 comes from G B Tate and Sons, although Dr. Darragh said it could be worth around $300,000. We have a 15 Page write up on the Piece alone. As I have been told the owner of the piece was great friends with Francois Gilot "Picasso\'s" Mistress. When it was originally purchsed it came with a magazine which tells of the art auction of many unknown paintings and drawings that were held on display in Switzerland during its original purchase in 1967. I have included all of the documents and information I could. There has been nearly an entire team from here to Berlin that has researched the piece. These documents I have gathered from others, and can only represent what I have been told about the piece by its owners. The Estate was originally going to sell the piece through Sothebys in Los Angeles until they had a bad experience and decided it should stay amongst the estate collection.
